Characteristics

Clusters, up to 80 mm diam. Leaf-pairs succulent, up to 25 mm long, 18 mm diam., top-shaped, apex truncate to slightly concave or irregularly keeled, fissure-zone inflated. Epidermis grey-green, sometimes purplish toward sides, covered in dense, coarse, grey papillae. Flowers diurnal, opening after ± 15:00, large, lustrous pink.
